A Word About Deborah

Lee Galesi, American residing for a long time in Florence and
resident in Hawaii, a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts and Psychology at
the University of Colorado. She studied privately with Raymond Whyte and
Gene Scarpentoni from the "Art Students" League" of New York, and with
Ben Long in Florence (there she specialized in portraiture). She attained
a "Master Program" at the "Villa Schifanoia" Institute of Florence. She
taught pictorial techniques in the United States for five years, and in
Italy at the "Liceo Artistico" of Florence. In 1987 she won the competion
at the "National Art Centre" of New York. Since then she has received
various awards and commendations in international competitions and exhibitions.
Italy has been especially rewarding to her, where she has become a highly
esteemed painter and member of the Professional Register of European Artists.
She has exhibited in the United States, Italy, France, Australia, and
Japan. Therefore her paintings may be found in private collections in
many parts of the world. Her mission is to start a rebirth of the renaissance. |
